I am a researcher and educator in a higher institution in South Africa. My research interests are in Mathematics education teaching and learning at all levels. In particular I wish to work with the girl-children, motivate and ensure that they pursue careers in mathematically related fields later in their lives. I thus wish to use my newly created blog as a platform through which young women can bee motivated to venture into such fields that are male dominated. I wish to achieve this by learning to use many other digital tools and be comfortable to use them.
