Teaching is a profession because it is a noble profession. It serves the children with the heart and teaches with the courage.
I am an educator and I joined this vocation because I would like to see the children those I teach becomes someone successful and lives in a good life in the future and those were my result of impart in their lives. When I see once my students were reached up the top in some department and organization I would be happy. That person’s life I contributed to become someone.
Teaching in my opinion is a profession but once a person becomes a teacher, he/she starts regarding teaching as a vocation. A teacher is not only teaching the subjects he/she is qualified to teach but we instil values and prepare the child not only to get a job but being a good individual as well. Along the way, we develop love for our children and we do more than just teaching. #courses:ds4oers
Teaching is a vocation to me as I was drawn to it. It suits my personality as I love to teach.
I had very inspiring teachers at high school. Their opened the world to us developed our curiosity to learn. I love to do the same and its wonderful to see when children respond.
Teaching is a profession, as we are trained as teachers through tertiary institutions and gain an academic qualification. I joined this profession because teaching is a noble profession.#DS4OERS

In my opinion, teaching is a combination of both vocation and profession. It requires one to be loving, dedicated and to share their knowledge to upbring the new generation in this era. Besides, teaching is a profession which requires one to acquire qualifications, skills and knowledge to teach. I joined teaching as it is a noble profession. #DS4OERS
Namaste/Bula Everyone, in my opinion Teacher is a profession, but the longer I’ve been in this field, the more I’ve realized that teacher is more than just a profession. It is Vocation . The passion for teaching, the joy it brings each time I see one of my students achieve their goals and excel in school, makes me believe that teaching is a noble and costly experience. It is not a job where you can simply show up, go through the motions, and collect your pay. Every time you walk into the classroom, you have to give a piece of yourself to it, but you get so much back in return. #courses:ds4oers
Hi colleagues, this is my definition of teaching. Teaching is both a profession when you impart the knowledge and skills needed by the students. it is also a vocation because this is where you shape, mold and build the students characters and help the students to view life positively to live a better or successful life individually.
I believe that teaching is both a vocation and a profession. Teaching is one of the most crucial, responsible and important profession because it molds the child’s destiny because it shapes and refines their character. So teachers need to be creative and innovative,
I strongly feel teaching is a vocation. Of course, anyone can choose teaching as a profession but not everyone can teach well if they do not teach from their heart. To be innovative in how to successfully implement one’s teaching skills and content knowledge of a subject will be reflective of how good, or very good teacher I can become
Teaching is a vocation and profession in my opinion. This is because to show someone to do a task you have to teach before that is for vocation and there are certain theories we must know to apply in life and that is where the profession comes in.
I am an educator and I joined this profession because I like to share knowledge and love with children. This profession also gives me opportunities to spread my wings
I like how you share your opinion that teaching is a vocation. Indeed a teacher’s work is never finished, they always planning, thinking or researching something for their class.
Similar sentiments to mine why you joined teaching.
Great!
