Our school quality assurance is mainly Internal it uses its own structures, systems and staff to quality assure its processes. Actually, this is done in line with expectations of relevant external stakeholders like State Ministry of Education and National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) as laid down in Federal Ministry of Education overall quality assurance guidelines. Our institutions had gone far beyond the minimum expectations of such external stakeholders and have achieved excellence. This approach, being internally driven has motivated our institution to drive its quality assurance process without any need for policing from an external agency. It is really a more preferred approach as it gave the internal stakeholders in our institution ownership of the quality assurance system and fully understood that the responsibility for quality assurance lies with their power and has greater potential for continuous quality improvement.
