My name is Meeri Iaonibutina, and I am from Kiribati. I teach geography and enrolled in this course to learn how to use the internet and videos more effectively in my classroom.
I’m delighted to join this learning community and develop my digital abilities so that I can provide more valuable tools to my pupils. One interesting feature about Kiribati is that it is made up of small islands scattered over the Pacific Ocean, and we are one of the first to watch the sunrise every day!

I have been working as a librarian and sometimes I provide extra library activities to student to develop their skills on how to access on e-books. Students limited capabilities and access to e-learning have inspired me to expand my perspective on digital skills.

I currently teach Accounting to Year 11 students and I’ve been passionate about helping learners understand how financial literacy can empower both individuals and communities. My name is Terieta Kaitinang, from the beautiful island of Kiribati. Nice to meet you all. I teach English and joining this course is to expand more my skillset. Learning more skill on internet and technology to improve my teaching to student. However a fun fact about Kiribati is that looking at a map you will see a small dot which show that it is Kiribati sitting on the equator of the earth which the first island to celebrate new year eve.
